My passion for accounting began all the way back in highschool, where I excelled academically. It was then I realized the significant gap in personalized support for business owners who aren’t naturally numbers-oriented but still need to understand their finances. Accounting is the language of business, and if it’s spoken in jargon, many owners are left in the dark. That’s where Malotte Bookkeeping bridges the gap, offering clear, tailored financial insights to empower business owners.

When I first started as a bookkeeper, I made my share of mistakes—one of which cost a client a couple of thousand dollars. That tough experience became a pivotal moment, pushing me to master QuickBooks Online and deepen my foundational knowledge of financial accounting as well as the importance of partnering with other accounting and tax professionals. I quickly learned that while software like QuickBooks is a great tool, it’s no substitute for proper financial management.
